London pub The Blacksmith & Toffeemaker in Islington have decided to transform their menu, making it completely vegan for 2018. They are also running a special 2 4 1 offer on all main courses throughout January in exchange for customer donations to the Islington food bank.
They say “we’re always looking for ways to improve the sustainability of the pub, and cutting meat and dairy from our menu is the next logical step”.
Recycled and biodegradable products are used wherever possible. The don’t serve straws with drinks and all menus, napkins, paper, takeaway bags and boxes are 100% recyclable.
