Arancini Brothers are the first non-vegan fast food restaurant chain to go 100% vegan for January, launching a new menu at their Old Street branch today.
The new menu includes classic arancini with mayo and chutney, the famous risotto burger, wraps served with risotto balls and salad, hot stews, breakfast wraps and baps and a selection of brownies and cakes.
Drop by 42 Old Street EC1V 9AE, from 9:30am-4pm Monday to Friday to try it out.
What is Arancini?
The owners (Dave and Dave) were taught by Sicilian chefs in Melbourne to make the perfect risotto balls.
Arancini is made from big grains of rice mixed through slow cooked onion, garlic, herbs and vegetable stock to make a firm risotto. This is hand rolled into balls, coated in rice flour and fried.
