The Gallery Cafe have announced “we’re so happy to say that by the end of this year, we’ll have taken the final steps in becoming a fully vegan cafe by switching out our dairy milk for plant-based ones”.

Since opening in 2006, the cafe has celebrated the vegan and vegetarian lifestyle through their extensive food and drinks menu, and are now taking the final step to stop offering milk as a dairy option.

They cafe is “committed to making delicious food that proves that a vegan diet doesn’t mean missing out on your favourite dishes, as well as a choice of coffees, hot drinks, speciality milks , juices and delicious baked goodies”. Food is made fresh every day using locally sourced, seasonal ingredients wherever possible.

As well as offering affordable vegan food, Fairtrade coffee and healthy juices, they also host live events and monthly art exhibitions from up-and-coming artists. All profits generated by the cafe go straight back into St. Margaret’s House to help support the local community.
