The Noodle Lab in Soho is testing a number of new vegan dishes throughout October and November, asking customers to “taste with an open mind” and provide feedback on new experimental recipes before they are rolled out to other branches.
This news follows the recent launch of their new vegan menu, featuring 29 plant-based dishes including the Yasai Samla curry, voted best vegan curry in the PETA vegan food awards.
The star of the show is the Vegatsu, a vegan Katsu curry made with crispy panko coated seitan. This dish is available for a limited time only – so get down to Soho soon before it’s too late!

Dishes currently being tested at The Noodle Lab include…
Vegetable tempure – tenderstem broccoli, asparagus, red pepper & sweet potato in tempura batter with sea vegetables & sweet and sour sauce
Vegan steamed buns – vegan hirata buns with mixed mushrooms & panko aubergine
Vegatsu – the dish we’ve all been waiting for, seitan coated in panko breadcrumbs in aromatic curry sauce with sticky rice & salad
Vietnamese glass noodle salad – glass noodles with kale, carrots, adzuki, edamame beans with lemongrass & ginger tofu and spicy vinegar
